We have a very relevant meeting scheduled for this coming Saturday August 14th. I am asking that all friends of North Metro REIA help to promote this meeting. You may ask why?
Well I believe the topic is that relevant – Using Retirement Funds to Invest in Real Estate – The bottleneck that is keeping most investors from taking advantage of the current flood of properties is money. I believe the current lending crisis is NOT a short term problem. The estimates I hear is that it will be at least 3 if not 5 years before money is available in any degree for use in investing. That is why topics like this are critical in this market. Take advantage of this opportunity not only to learn for the use of your retirement account but use this class for any money investor you may have to educate them in the process as well.
In a time like this we have to also look to help our fellow investors. Do you know at least one or two investors or individuals looking for a higher rate of return on their money that could benefit from this meeting? Do you have a money investor that you have been discussing using their retirement account to finance your deals but have not been able to convince them it was a good idea? Bring them to the meeting!

2 networking topics. Once everyone gets their plate, they will sit in the
designated area for the networking topic they are interested in.

Focus Groups (9:00am-9:45am). At each meeting we will have 3 Focus Groups that cover one topic a month. Some of these will be a progressive series and some will not. The classes will relate to all aspects of real estate investing and will be broken down as follows:
“Beginner” - The title says it all. The very basics of the topic will be taught in this class.
“How to” - This class will teach the more intermediate and advanced information concerning the topic.
“Hands on” – This is truly a hands on class. If the discussion is marketing, bring your property and participate in writing your ads. If the topic is LLC's or Corporations, you will fill out the paperwork to complete that entity. I think you get the idea!
We believe these changes in our focus groups will bring a newness and benefit to investors on all levels.
