About the Speaker:
Chip Cagle has been a Loan Consultant for Longhorn Investments since May 2023. With a robust real estate finance and investment background, Chip is dedicated to helping investors secure the best project financing solutions. Before joining Longhorn Investments, he brokered loans to the company, gaining valuable experience in funding loans across Georgia and Alabama. In Georgia, Chip actively supports lending in key markets such as Atlanta, Savannah, Athens, Macon, and Columbus.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Computer Science and Math degree, Chip initially built his career with IBM before transitioning into IT consulting. His consulting role took him around the country and the world, assisting companies in optimizing their software systems. However, when business slowed in 2005, Chip pivoted to real estate investment, learning to fix and flip properties. Inspired by a mentor's advice to learn by doing, Chip dove into his first investment property, netting a $20k profit despite initial mistakes.
In 2016, Chip left IT consulting to focus on real estate. Attending a real estate investor meeting introduced him to real estate investment lending. Following lender training, Chip embraced the field, quickly establishing himself as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor.
With extensive experience in real estate investing and lending, Chip excels at guiding investors to the right loan products for their properties.
